The latest patch is a big one, so big that Microsoft hustled it out the door on a Thursday instead of the normal patch day of Tuesday. So if you’ve been ignoring your automatic updates now’s the time to update.

Sometimes a piece of software honestly earns the moniker beta. Such is the case with Microsoft’s PC Advisor.
While polished in look and feel and slightly more useful than the built in error reporting tools, the fixes provided are still often way off the mark and far to generic to be of real use.
